Valentine's Day
Well today's been certainly one for the books!
I've never received anything for Valentine's Day in my life - single or not. This year has been the end to the life long drought and I'm just so happy.
I've spent the last 2 nights over at James' house as Sarah has been on camp for high school. I woke this morning in his arms and was welcomed to the day with a "Happy Valentine's Day, love".
We went our seperate ways for work then spent lunch together again, back to work then caught up after dinner. I gave him a lovely card and a present. He gave me a card and a passionate kiss.
The card says:
To my beautiful Lisa,
Thankyou for the loving things
That always mean so much...
Your smile, your warmth, your tenderness,
Your gentle, caring touch...
Thank you for being such a beautiful soul.
Since I first laid eyes on you, I could sense that you were special.
I thank you for allowing me the opportunity of getting to know and appreciating you.
Thankyou for our yesterdays and bright tomorrows too,
Thankyou for the special joy I've found in loving you.
I am truly blessed Lisa. I look forward to sharing my thoughts with you
and enjoying new experiences.
Happy Valentines Day my darling.
Lots of love,
James

I threw my arms around him and kissed him. I've never received such words and am so happy.
He took my hand and walked me into his lounge. Leaning against the wall was the most amazing original oil painting of a gorgeous French seaside village, which I thought was his. I told him how beautiful it was and was just mesmerised by it. He pulled me to him and held me then whispered in my ear, "I'm glad you like it honey. It's yours".
I shrieked and threw my arms around his neck again and kissed and kissed him over and over again.
I don't think I'll ever stop thanking the Goddess for bringing him into my life.
